The Story Behind the Image:
Years ago, driving my usual route home on the edge of town, a Continental Mark III appeared. It sat silent against the backdrop of an old, one-story red brick building. Over the following weeks, I watched as nature began to reclaim the space, with wild grasses and plants springing up through the gravel to embrace the vehicle.

One evening, on my way home, driven by the photographer's itch, I raced back to retrieve my film camera. Pulling over to the side of the road, I found the automobile in surprising condition, its presence lending an air of curiosity to the scene. After shooting a roll of color film to capture the moment, I packed up and went home.

The very next day, the car was gone. It had vanished as mysteriously as it had arrived.
